Parks
There are a number of parks and play areas throughout the Parish but Killamarsh Parish Council are only responsible for the maintenance at Belklane Park, Norwood and Birchlands.
All other parks and open spaces are the maintained by North East Derbyshire District Council.
The Parish Council has been able to rejuvenate the play area at Norwood in 2023 partially using its reserves and also through a successful grant application for a share of the Governments UK Shared Prosperity Levelling Up fund through NEDDC.
Skate Park
Killamarsh has one of the largest, free to use, outdoor Skate Parks in the County. It is located at the Killamarsh Active and managed by North East Derbyshire District Council.
North East Derbyshire District Council have recently obtained funding to refurbish the skate park with works anticipated to start in the summer of 2023.
